Yes! There is no need to go through life with missing
teeth! Dental implants are the best alternative to
dentures. If denture adhesive isn’t used, you may have an embarrassing moment of your denture falling out while eating or speaking. Even if you have been told you don’t have enough bone to support dental implants, you may still be a candidate. Through bone grafting or sinus lift procedures we can rebuild bone in your jaw so you can get any number of implants
placed.
At our office, we understand that cost is a very important consideration. From the surgical placements
to the final tooth restoration, there are many different factors that determine each person’s treatment plan. That’s why our team provides a full consultation to design your dream smile. After your consultation, you
will receive an, all-inclusive price so you know the
exact cost of your treatment based upon your needs.
Most of the patients don’t describe it as pain, but as discomfort. Everyone’s a little different, but the doctors can give you medication to make sure you are comfortable.
When placed by an experienced doctor and cared for properly, dental implants can last you a lifetime. At our office, we provide all our dental implant patients with a conditional warranty. Since our doctors are highly
experienced, we see very little complications, but if you experience any problems with your implants, we got
you covered!
While nothing can ever exactly replace your original
teeth, implants will give you the closest feel and
function to your natural teeth. They will allow you to
enjoy foods you may not have had for years, all while
giving you a beautiful smile that you can love!
Taking care of your new smile is very simple and should
be maintained like natural teeth. We recommend
brushing and flossing twice a day and following your
maintenance cleanings with our hygienist.
Ideally, yes. The doctor will be able to give you the
perfect bite, you’ll have a whole new smile and you’ll
only have to go through the procedure once. At the
same time, if you need to stage it and start with just
one arch you can talk to the doctor to see if that is a
possibility.
That’s another great question. Have you ever had a seed caught underneath your denture? Yes. Most people say it’s like a rock in their shoe. That’s because every time you bite down the denture puts pressure on your gums. This set of teeth is supported by the implants. It is rock solid, it will not move, so no, it will
not push on your gums.
No, you don’t floss between your teeth. The important
part of the cleaning is to maintain good gum health
underneath the bridge. Staff will show you how to use a
WaterPik, dental floss or small brushes to keep the
junction between your beautiful new teeth and the gum line clean.
To reserve your surgeon, your surgical suite and have
the lab to start making your new teeth, our practice
does require payment in advance. It’s like when
you book a cruise, you pay in advance because you
wouldn’t get to your destination and expect the cruise has your room, meals and activities reserved for you without payment.
Even though every patient has their own unique treatment plan, most patients come to our office in the morning and leave in the afternoon with their brand new smile!
We know that getting your new smile is very exciting!
Even though the surgery is only one day, the entire
process is not. After your surgery, you will leave the
office with a temporary set of teeth during the healing
process. Based upon your treatment plan, our team
will develop your treatment outline during the initial
consultation.
This happens very rarely. But all that it means is that
bone doesn’t grow and attach to the implant. Your
doctors will remove and place an implant in the same position if possible. If not, at the very most they might have to do some bone grafting and put the implant in a different position. Either way, it doesn’t cost you anything.
The doctors have treated people who sing and
are actors, or make their living by speaking. The
restorative dentist will go through a series of exercises
with you to make sure you are pronouncing your words correctly and that you can sing. Consult your doctor should you have any concerns with speaking or singing.
That is a great question, but you will not. When people
have a hip or a knee replacement they are required to carry a card with them. The implants aren’t big enough to set off the metal detector.
Absolutely not! That’s why you have that first appointment to design your smile. We wouldn’t do this treatment if you could see that line. The only way to see it is if you take your lips and pull them back to show
someone.
It’s always a possibility. You can slip on ice, fall forward,
and hit concrete. The nice thing about this is that it is
repairable. Even though you can’t take them out – the doctor still can. You come here, the doctor will remove the teeth and will likely be able to provide you with a repair in as little as an hour depending on the material of your teeth.
